“As for the music, this band takes many elements from member’s previous philly-are and south jersey bands. The opening tack, ‘Pipe Dream’starts off hard and ends heavy as hell. ‘Words You Put In My Mouth” speeds things up a bit and ‘Guilt and Shame’ brings a much punkier feel to the record with some great singing overtop some great simplistic riffing. Side B starts off with ‘Grain of Salt’, which has one of the hottest two-steps I’ve heard in awhile. Very Helmet-like. ‘Anxiety (is calling me)’ brings this record to an end and does a great job of sealing the deal on a great maiden voyage of a release for Braindead. I really Hope this band keeps at it, be on the lookout.”
